Who we are looking for

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

A Technical Project Manager is a hybrid role: a professional with technical skills in the IT sector who is also responsible for managing IT projects and leading technical teams.

If you have a strong interest in technology, an unbreakable will to get digital projects to completion, if you like to motivate and encourage others and work well under pressure, a career path as a Technical Project Manager at Castro & Partners might be just right for you!

Your main tasks and responsibilities would be in ensuring the achievement of our clients’ objectives while monitoring costs and meeting deadlines.

You would work closely with stakeholders and other team members, including project managers, coordinators and business analysts.

You should have an in-depth knowledge of complex IT projects, integration across multiple systems and an understanding of the whole software development lifecycle management.

The role is that of a Project Manager who’ll be as versatile as it needs: from Agile to Waterfall, you would be implementing different methodologies depending on the reading of the situation.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Complete projects with the team, meeting set deadlines;
  • Coordinate activities and stakeholder relations;
  • Assist in the development of project plans and timelines;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical issues in the projects and prioritise each component;
  • Ease teams into project phases and collective objectives; survey and manage project risks;
  • Monitor progress and regularly share the project’s status;
  • Maintain the project’s documentation and ensure it’s kept up-to-date.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in IT/Management Engineering;
  • Specialisation courses in Project Management appreciated;
  • Knowledge of the main business management processes appreciated;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office suite, Asana, Trello, Jira;
  • SCRUM, PMP and PRINCE II certifications are a huge advantage;
  • We work with clients from all over the world: good English is a must (C1 level and up); the interview will be in English;
  • Curiosity, proactivity, precision, punctuality, team spirit and a sense of reponsibility all round up the role requirements.

The digital future of your business starts now.
